When purchasing a new updated 3-Bureau Credit Report & Scores, you will lose access to your previous 3-Bureau Credit Report & Scores.
Registration and Accurate Information
If you decide to register on our Site, become a member of one of our TransUnion Plus membership programs, purchase any of our Products or participate in our affiliate program, contests or surveys, you may be required to register, provide personal information, and select a user name and password. You agree to provide accurate information in your registration and not to share your password with third parties. You agree not to impersonate another person or to select or use a user name or password of another person. You agree to notify TransUnion Interactive promptly of any unauthorized use of your account and of any loss, theft or disclosure of your password. Failure to comply with these requirements shall constitute a breach of these terms and conditions and shall constitute grounds for immediate termination of your TransUnion Interactive account and your right to use the Site. Online access to consumer credit report information is subject to verification of the identity of the user. We reserve the right to suspend or cancel any accounts that we believe are or were involved in fraudulent activities, in our sole discretion.
Sometimes TransUnion Interactive will offer trial services at the beginning of paid services and subscriptions. At the end of the free trial period, you will be automatically billed on a recurring basis for the service on a going-forward basis. The terms of any free trial are specific only to the product(s) subject to the free trial. TransUnion Interactive will verify your billing information before processing your order. An authorization will be requested from your billing account to make sure it is valid and in good standing. TransUnion Interactive will not bill your account until the relevant free trial period is completed and you have not cancelled your subscription during such trial period as provided below. If you upgrade to a new monitoring subscription during a free trial, you will lose all benefits to the trial and will be billed immediately for the upgraded service. You may cancel your subscription at any time during the trial period without charge. To cancel your subscriptions please contact our Customer Service Team by going to https://www.transunionplus.com/member/account/close/. If you wish to continue your subscription, do nothing and your subscription will automatically continue without interruption. The monthly fee (plus sales tax, if applicable) will be charged at the conclusion of the trial period to the credit card or bank account you designated as your preference or, if you have not designated a preference, the account that was most recently used on the Site and your subscription will continue automatically, billable monthly at the prevailing rate. For the avoidance of doubt, you understand that a free trial is part of an introduction to a paid product, and that at the end of the free trial period, you will be charged monthly for a subscription service until you cancel. Any free trial is available one time only per consumer customer.
When you become a member in one of our subscription products, including TransUnion Plus, you understand that it is a membership that automatically renews itself every month indefinitely without action. TransUnion Interactive will charge the then-current monthly membership fee (plus sales tax, if applicable) to the credit card, debit card or bank account that you designated as your preference, or if you have not designated a preference, to the account most recently used on the Site. Should the billing account fail to authorize, you will be notified via email immediately. The benefits of your membership (including, without limitation, online credit reports and credit monitoring alerts) will be suspended until payment is received, provided payment is received within 36 days. If payment is not received within 36 days, your membership will be cancelled. An enrollee whose membership fee has been paid is entitled to all privileges included in the membership until the membership is canceled by the enrolled member or otherwise terminated as described later in this document. Upon cancellation, the member loses access to the areas of the Site designated for members only and loses access to the member's data and other benefits. This could include any credit data and analyses that have been displayed during the membership. A member may cancel at any time by following the directions at by going to https://www.transunionplus.com/member/account/close/. Should you decide to cancel your subscription a Customer Service representative can arrange for all future renewal fees to be canceled. However, please note that neither full nor pro-rated refunds will be given for the current month. Any free trial is available one time only per customer. Once any free trial has been canceled, all subsequent orders will be billable at the prevailing monthly subscription rate. TransUnion Interactive reserves the right to adjust pricing for our Products or any product features at any time, effective upon notice to our consumers.
Credit reports, credit scores and debt analysis will be available for a period of up to one year or until you update your report, otherwise, products will be provided for the period stated in the product description.
Memberships, such as monitoring products and TransUnion Plus, automatically renew indefinitely without action by the member, and the membership fee is charged to the member at the time of renewal. An enrollee whose membership fee has been paid is entitled to all privileges included in the membership until the membership is cancelled by the enrolled member or otherwise terminated as described later in this document. Consent to obtain credit data to fulfill the benefits of subscription products shall be valid under the program until cancelled. Upon cancellation, the member loses access to the areas of the Site designated for members only and loses access to member's data and other benefits, including, any 3-Bureau Credit Report and Scores separately purchased during the subscription. TransUnion Interactive is not responsible for any overdraft/over-the-limit charges or bank fees triggered by your order being processed or billed. We suggest using a credit card rather than a debit card. Refunds will not be issued if we have successfully located and delivered your order to you.
Live ID Alert
Live ID Alert monitors membership, credit monitoring, Money Manager linked accounts (see Money Manager section below) and other credit and financial monitoring products offered on or through this Site. Membership alerts notify you of important update and changed surrounding your TransUnion Plus membership. Credit Monitoring monitors one or more of your credit files, depending upon the type of credit monitoring that may be offered to you through TransUnion Plus, which are separately owned and/or maintained by each of the applicable credit bureaus: TransUnion LLC, Experian, and Equifax. Credit Monitoring monitors the credit file most closely identified with you based on multiple identifying factors such as first, middle and last names, current and former addresses, Social Security number and date of birth. Credit Monitoring may not advise or alert you if an item of identifying information about you (including your name or address or Social Security number) is contained in the applicable credit bureau's credit file of another person, and will not provide you with any information contained in another individual's credit file. Products provided by TransUnion Interactive, including Credit Monitoring, do not monitor, or cross-reference your credit file (s) with the credit file(s) of any other person.
Please remember that there are different processing times for the commencement of services at each credit reporting bureau, therefore you may not be enrolled in all of them at the same time. Monitoring with TransUnion LLC usually begins within 48 hours of enrollment but may be delayed. If TransUnion Interactive is unable to confirm enrollment for any reason, notification will be made to the email address we have on record for you at the time of the notice. In the event that three-bureau credit monitoring is offered to you through TransUnion Plus, monitoring with Equifax and Experian takes on average approximately 4 days to begin, though in some cases monitoring cannot be initiated during the trial period, (if a trial period applies). TransUnion Interactive does not control and is not responsible for the Equifax or Experian enrollment process.
When you order a single-bureau credit monitoring product from TransUnion Interactive, TransUnion Interactive requests that TransUnion LLC enroll you in its credit monitoring service. In the event that three-bureau credit monitoring is offered to you through TransUnion Plus, when you order a credit monitoring product from TransUnion Interactive that monitors credit files at three credit bureaus, TransUnion Interactive requests that each individual credit bureau enrolls you in their respective credit monitoring service.
The TransUnion single bureau credit monitoring product is conditioned upon successful enrollment by TransUnion LLC in its credit monitoring service; if TransUnion LLC is not able to enroll you, your order will be cancelled and you will not be charged or you will not receive alerts or monitoring of changes to your TransUnion credit file. TransUnion Interactive will notify you in the event that TransUnion LLC is not able to enroll you in credit monitoring, but such notification may not occur during your trial period, if any.
In the event that three-bureau credit monitoring is offered to you through TransUnion Plus, your order of any three bureau credit monitoring product is conditioned upon successful enrollment by at least one credit bureau in its credit monitoring product. If no credit bureau is able to enroll you in its credit monitoring program, your order will be cancelled, and you will not receive alerts or monitoring of changes to any of your credit files. In the event that three-bureau credit monitoring is offered to you through TransUnion Plus and only one or two credit bureaus, but not all three bureaus, are able to enroll you in their credit monitoring, credit monitoring will be provided by the bureau or bureaus that were able to enroll you; you will not receive alerts or monitoring of changes to the credit files of the bureau or bureaus that were not able to enroll you in their respective credit monitoring programs. In the event three-bureau credit monitoring is offered to you through TransUnion Plus and you order a three-bureau credit monitoring product, by placing your order, you agree that, if fewer than all three credit bureaus enroll you in their credit monitoring; TransUnion Interactive is authorized to monitor only the credit files at the bureau or bureaus that enrolled you. Any such credit monitoring will be provided at the price agreed upon; you will not be eligible for a price reduction, discount or refund. In the event that three-bureau credit monitoring is offered to you through TransUnion Plus, TransUnion Interactive will notify you if fewer than all three credit bureaus enroll you in credit monitoring, but such notification may not occur during your trial period, if any. In the event that three-bureau credit monitoring is offered to you through TransUnion Plus and TransUnion Interactive is not able to enroll a consumer in the three-bureau product that the consumer requested, the consumer must change his or her subscription within 30 days or the subscriber will continue in their current subscription at the three-bureau price.
If your Product selection includes the Educational Tools, you may have access to Calculators, Credit Score Simulators, Credit Score Tracker, Debt Analysis and Comparison Reports (the Educational Tools) for educational purposes, which include certain calculators, which may allow you to calculate, for instance: the income you may have or need for retirement; the amount you may accrue in interest on a credit card; the amount that you may have to pay back in the event that you take out a student loan or a personal loan (collectively, the Calculators). THESE EDUCATIONAL TOOLS ARE ONLY ESTIMATES AND ARE FOR EDUCATIONAL USE ONLY. THE EDUCATIONAL TOOLS ARE PROVIDED TO YOU AS A COURTESY TO MONITOR YOUR CREDIT HEALTH AND TO MAKE INFORMED CREDIT DECISIONS ON YOUR OWN BEHALF. TRANS UNION LLC, TRANSUNION INTERACTIVE, INC. VantageScore® Score by TransUnion
If you enroll in, purchase, or select a product that contains a credit score, the score provided to you is the VantageScore® Credit Score. The credit score provided is based on the VantageScore 3.0 credit score model and it may not be the score used by your lender. The VantageScore® Credit Score, based on TransUnion data, is provided to help you better understand how lenders view your credit report. It is not an endorsement or a determination of your qualification for a loan. Lenders use credit scores to help determine whether or not you are a good candidate for a loan and what interest rate you will pay. However, each lender has specific underwriting standards, so you should not assume that you will receive the same evaluation from each lender. As part of the underwriting process, they will incorporate additional information you provide and may obtain references. In addition, even if you are approved, the terms and conditions of loans vary from lender to lender. The information used to determine your credit score comes from one of the three major credit bureaus - TransUnion, Equifax and Experian. Credit reports are a compilation of credit information that is reported to the applicable bureau by the various lending institutions with which you have accounts. The information contained in your report reflects the latest information provided to the applicable bureau. If you recently made a payment, opened a new account, or authorized an inquiry, it may not yet be reflected in the credit report of any one of the bureaus you receive. Likewise, if the information is not included in the applicable credit report it will not be reflected in your credit score based on such report. Also, disputed items are not incorporated in the assessment of your credit score. Your credit score will change each time new information is captured in the credit report on which it is based. The VantageScore® Credit Score, based on TransUnion data, may not be identical in every respect to any consumer credit scores produced by any other company.
There are various types of credit scores, and lenders use a variety of different types of credit scores to make lending decisions. Like other credit scores offered to consumers, the credit score that TransUnion Interactive offers may not be likely to be the same score used by lenders or other commercial users for credit decisions. Only your lender can determine which credit score it may use to determine your credit eligibility.
Home Insurance Score
As part of your subscription and/or membership, you may be provided with access to TransUnion Home Insurance Score. TransUnion Home Insurance Score is a number that represents your credit behavior. It is calculated by applying a mathematical formula to the data from your credit report. Your TransUnion Home Insurance Score represents a snapshot of your credit report on the day it was calculated. Factors such as income, race and gender are not measured in the scoring process. Since many states have different insurance standards, your TransUnion Home Insurance Score was calculated to match benchmarks from the state that you most recently added to your TransUnion Plus mailing address information.
The TransUnion Home Insurance Score is provided to help you better understand how insurers view your credit information when determining insurance rates. It is not an endorsement or a determination of your qualification for insurance. Insurers evaluate credit data to help determine whether or not you are a good candidate for insurance and what rate you will pay. However, each insurer has specific underwriting standards, so you should not assume that you will receive the same evaluation from each insurer. As part of the underwriting process, they will incorporate additional information, such as application information you provide and other data and may obtain references. In addition, even if you are approved, the terms and conditions of insurance vary from insurer to insurer. CERTAIN STATES CURRENTLY RESTRICT THE USE OF CREDIT DATA WHEN DETERMINING INSURANCE RATES. CHECK WITH YOUR INSURANCE PROVIDER TO SEE IF YOUR STATE HAS THESE RESTRICTIONS. The information used to determine your insurance score comes from TransUnion, one of the major credit bureaus. Credit reports are a compilation of credit information that is reported to the bureaus by the various lending institutions with which you have accounts. The information contained in your report reflects the latest information provided. If you recently made a payment, opened a new account, or authorized an inquiry, it may not yet be reflected in the credit report you receive. Likewise, it will not be reflected in your TransUnion Home Insurance Score. Also, disputed items are not incorporated in the assessment of your TransUnion Home Insurance Score. Your TransUnion Home Insurance Score will change each time new information is captured in your record. The TransUnion Home Insurance Score has been generated using a proprietary TransUnion model. The Insurance Scores of TransUnion may not be identical in every respect to any consumer insurance scores produced by any other models.
As part of your subscription and/or membership, you may be provided with access to Money Manager, a digital money management service that allows registered users to organize, consolidate, manage and track their financial information. From time to time, the Third Party Servicer, including ConsumerDirect®, may modify the Money Manager and add, change, or delete features, in its sole discretion, without notice to you. You are solely responsible for (a) maintaining the confidentiality and security of your login information, passwords, and any other security or access information used by you or anyone you authorize on your behalf to access the services (collectively, "Account Information"), (b) preventing unauthorized access to or use of the information, files or data that you store or use in or with the services (collectively, "Account Data"), (c) all electronic communications, including account registration and other account holder information, email and financial, accounting and other data entered using the Account Information ("Communications"), and (d) without limiting the foregoing, any and all activities that occur under your account. TransUnion and its Third Party Servicers, including ConsumerDirect®, shall assume that any Communications received through use of the Account Information were sent or authorized by you. You agree to immediately notify TransUnion if you become aware of any loss, theft or unauthorized use of any Account Information. We reserve the right to deny you access to the services (or any part thereof) if we reasonably believe that any loss, theft or unauthorized use of Account Information has occurred.
In connection with your use of the Money Manager and as part of its functionality, as may be applicable, you may have access to certain online services or information that may be made available by your bank and/or other third party provider(s) ("Account Services"), including online banking, online payment, online investment account download, online bill pay, online trading, and other account information available from Third Party Provider(s). The Money Manager may be designed to allow access to Account Services (if and to the extent provided by users provider(s)) to set up banking and other information, schedule the Money Manager to access user account(s), download transactions into the Money Manager and otherwise aggregate information from user account(s) with Third Party Provider(s). TransUnion and its Third Party Servicers have no control over the provision of Account Services or provision of access to the Account Services by users provider(s). TransUnion and its Third Party Servicers do not guarantee the Account Services. You agree that you may be able to use the Money Manager in conjunction with the Account Services, and that TransUnion and its Third Party Servicers disclaim any and all liability whatsoever for any actions or inactions on the part of your provider(s) resulting in any inability to use the Money Manager to access accounts, obtain data, download transactions, or otherwise use or access the Account Services. You acknowledge and agree when you access data and information through the Money Manager, third party provider account access number(s), password(s), security question(s) and answer(s), account number(s), login information, and any other security or access information, and the actual data in your user account(s) with such provider(s) such as bank and other account balances, credit card charges, debits and deposits as may be applicable (collectively, "Account Services Data"), may be collected and stored in the Money Manager. You expressly authorize TransUnion and its Third Party Servicers, in conjunction with the operation and hosting of the Money Manager, to use certain Account Services Data to (i) collect Account Services Data, (ii) reformat and manipulate such Account Services Data, (iii) create and provide hypertext links to provider(s), (iv) access the providers' websites using Account Services Data, (v) update and maintain account information, (vi) address errors or service interruptions, (vii) enhance the type of data and services we can provide in the future, and (viii) take such other actions as are reasonably necessary to perform the actions described in (i) through (vii) above. Any transactions or informational activities performed at any provider's website are not made through the Money Manager and TransUnion and its Third Party Servicers assume no responsibility for such transactions or activities. You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for any charges associated with provider(s). You further acknowledge and agree that (i) some providers may not allow the Money Manager to access the Account Services, (ii) providers may make changes to their websites, with or without notice to TransUnion and its Third Party Servicers, that may prevent or delay aggregation of information from such websites, and (iii) the Money Manager may "refresh" the Account Services Data by collecting the Account Services Data nightly, so your most recent transactions may not be reflected in any account balances or other account information presented to user in the Money Manager. In the event that you see a discrepancy in the Account Services Data, and in any case before making any transactions or decisions based on such account information presented in the Money Manager, you agree to check the last refresh date for the account and confirm with that applicable provider that the Account Services Data is correct or otherwise confirm that Account Services Data is up to date and accurate. Your right to use the Money Manager is personal to you and is not transferable by you to any other person or entity.
Third Party Account Information Services
The following provisions govern your access to the third party account information available through your membership. These provisions are in addition to the other provisions of the Services Agreement. If there is any conflict between the provisions of this section entitled "Third Party Account Information Services" and any other provisions of the Services Agreement with respect to your access to third party account information, the provisions of this section shall govern.
You, the end user, agree to provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself and your accounts maintained at other websites and you agree to not misrepresent your identity or your account information. You agree to keep your account information up to date and accurate.
You are permitted to use content delivered to you through the service only on the service. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content. Further, you agree not to reverse engineer or reverse compile any of the service technology, including but not limited to, any Java applets associated with the service.
You are licensing to TransUnion and its Third Party Servicers, including ConsumerDirect®, any information, data, passwords, materials or other content (collectively, "Content") you provide through or to the service. TransUnion its Third Party Servicers, including ConsumerDirect®, may use, modify, display, distribute and create new material using such Content to provide the service to you. By submitting Content, you automatically agree, or promise that the owner of such Content has expressly agreed that, without any particular time limit, and without the payment of any fees, TransUnion and its Third Party Servicers, including ConsumerDirect®, may use the Content for the purposes set out above. As between TransUnion and its Third Party Servicers, including ConsumerDirect®, TransUnion owns your confidential account information.
By using the service, you authorize TransUnion and its Third Party Servicers, including ConsumerDirect®, to access third party sites designated by you, on your behalf, to retrieve information requested by you, and to register for accounts requested by you. For all purposes hereof, you hereby grant TransUnion and its Third Party Servicers, including ConsumerDirect®, a limited power of attorney, and you hereby appoint TransUnion and its Third Party Servicers, including ConsumerDirect®, as your true and lawful attorney-in-fact and agent, with full power of substitution and resubstitution, for you and in your name, place and stead, in any and all capacities, to access third party internet sites, servers or documents, retrieve information, and use your information, all as described above, with the full power and authority to do and perform each and every act and thing requisite and necessary to be done in connection with such activities, as fully to all intents and purposes as you might or could do in person. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT WHEN TRANSUNION OR ITS THRD PARTY SERVICERS, INCLUDING CONSUMERDIRECT®, ACCESSES AND RETRIEVES INFORMATION FROM THIRD PARTY SITES, TRANSUNION AND ITS THIRD PARTY SERVICERS, INCLUDING CONSUMERDIRECT®, ARE ACTING AS YOUR AGENT, AND NOT THE AGENT OR ON BEHALF OF THE THIRD PARTY. You agree that third party account providers shall be entitled to rely on the foregoing authorization, agency and power of attorney granted by you. You understand and agree that the service is not endorsed or sponsored by any third party account providers accessible through the service.
YOU EXPRESSLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT:
YOUR USE OF THE THIRD PARTY ACCOUNT INFORMATION SERVICE AND ALL INFORMATION, PRODUCTS AND OTHER CONTENT (INCLUDING THAT OF THIRD PARTIES) INCLUDED IN OR ACCESSIBLE FROM THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. TRANSUNION AND ITS THIRD PARTY SERVICERS, INCLUDING CONSUMERDIRECT®, EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND AS TO THE SERVICE AND ALL INFORMATION, PRODUCTS AND OTHER CONTENT (INCLUDING THAT OF THIRD PARTIES) INCLUDED IN OR ACCESSIBLE FROM THE SERVICE, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT.
TRANSUNION AND ITS THIRD PARTY SERVICERS, INCLUDING CONSUMERDIRECT®, MAKE NO WARRANTY THAT (i) THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, (ii) THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, (iii) THE RESULTS THAT MAY BE OBTAINED FROM THE USE OF THE SERVICE WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE, (iv) THE QUALITY OF ANY PRODUCTS, SERVICES, INFORMATION, OR OTHER MATERIAL PURCHASED OR OBTAINED BY YOU THROUGH THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS, OR (V) ANY ERRORS IN THE TECHNOLOGY WILL BE CORRECTED.
ANY MATERIAL DOWNLOADED OR OTHERWISE OBTAINED THROUGH THE USE OF THE SERVICE IS DONE AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION AND RISK AND YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO YOUR COMPUTER SYSTEM OR LOSS OF DATA THAT RESULTS FROM THE DOWNLOAD OF ANY SUCH MATERIAL. NO ADVICE OR INFORMATION, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, OBTAINED BY YOU FROM TRANSUNION OR ITS THIRD PARTY SERVICERS, INCLUDING CONSUMERDIRECT®, THROUGH OR FROM THE SERVICE WILL CREATE ANY WARRANTY NOT EXPRESSLY STATED IN THESE TERMS.
YOU AGREE THAT NEITHER TRANSUNION OR ITS THIRD PARTY SERVICERS, INCLUDING CONSUMERDIRECT®, NOR ANY OF THEIR AFFILIATES, ACCOUNT PROVIDERS OR ANY OF THEIR AFFILIATES WILL BE LIABLE FOR ANY HARMS, WHICH LAWYERS AND COURTS OFTEN CALL DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, EVEN IF TRANSUNION OR ITS THIRD PARTY SERVICERS, INCLUDING CONSUMERDIRECT®, HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, RESULTING FROM: (i) THE USE OR THE INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE; (ii) THE COST OF GETTING SUBSTITUTE GOODS AND SERVICES, (iii) ANY PRODUCTS, DATA, INFORMATION OR SERVICES PURCHASED OR OBTAINED OR MESSAGES RECEIVED OR TRANSACTIONS ENTERED INTO, THROUGH OR FROM THE SERVICE; (iv) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR DATA; (v) STATEMENTS OR CONDUCT OF ANYONE ON THE SERVICE; (vi) THE USE, INABILITY TO USE, UNAUTHORIZED USE, PERFORMANCE OR NON-PERFORMANCE OF ANY THIRD PARTY ACCOUNT PROVIDER SITE, EVEN IF THE PROVIDER HAS BEEN ADVISED PREVIOUSLY OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES; OR (vii) ANY OTHER MATTER RELATING TO THE SERVICE.
You agree to protect and fully compensate TransUnion and its Third Party Servicers, including ConsumerDirect®, and their affiliates from any and all third party claims, liability, damages, expenses and costs (including, but not limited to, reasonable attorneys fees) caused by or arising from your use of the service, your violation of these terms or your infringement, or infringement by any other user of your account, of any intellectual property or other right of anyone.
You agree that Third Party Servicers, including ConsumerDirect®, are third party beneficiaries of the above provisions, with all rights to enforce such provisions as if Third Party Servicers, including ConsumerDirect®, were a party to this Agreement.
Grant of Limited Power of Attorney
You, the member, hereby grant TransUnion Interactive, its employees, agents, subcontractors and assigns, a specific, limited power of attorney, granting such authority necessary to provide our stated products to you, and to use the information contained in your personal credit profile and/or other creditor/sources of information to acquire your credit data, including, but not limited to, credit reports, scores, identification products, monthly credit report monitoring products and profiles so that we may provide current and future products to you.
You further grant to TransUnion Interactive full power and authority to submit every act initiated by you in the exercise of any of the powers granted hereunder as fully as you might or would authorize if you were personally present, with full power of substitution and revocation, hereby ratifying and confirming all such acts undertaken within the authority of this power of attorney that are lawfully done or caused to be done.
TransUnion Interactive, Inc. its professional judgment, shall have sole discretion in determining the specific acts necessary to accomplish the purpose of this Agreement and may also include written and oral communications on your behalf with various agencies and entities such as, but not limited to, sources of reporting, creditors and collection agencies sharing credit information relating to you, the member, so we can acquire your credit information for your use. You specifically grant to TransUnion Interactive the right to engage in such an exchange of information on your behalf with the various agencies and entities disseminating credit data regarding you, the member.
The Products may offer features and services that are available to you, and delivered by us, through your mobile phone. These features may include, without limitation, the ability to upload Product content to your mobile phone, receive Product messages on your mobile phone, download applications to your mobile phone or access the Product's features on your mobile phone (collectively, "TransUnion Mobile"). Standard messaging, data and other fees may be charged by your carrier to utilize TransUnion Mobile. Fees and charges will appear on your mobile bill or be deducted from your pre-paid balance. Your carrier may prohibit or restrict certain features of TransUnion Mobile and certain features may be incompatible with your carrier or mobile device. Contact your carrier with questions regarding these issues.
If you access TransUnion Products through a mobile device or download a TransUnion application to your mobile device, you hereby agree that TransUnion Mobile may send communications to your mobile device. You also agree that, we may collect information related to your use of TransUnion and its Products. If you have registered for TransUnion Mobile, you agree to notify TransUnion of any changes to your mobile number and update your account to reflect any such change. You understand that if you change your mobile number (or email address) and you have signed up to receive alerts or other information via text (or email), that you will not receive such information unless and until you update your mobile number (or email address) in your account settings. Please note that you may not receive all text alerts, so we recommend that you sign in to your online account at least once per month to ensure that you receive all alerts.
From time to time, TransUnion Interactive may examine the prices that we charge for our products, and update them over time. Consumers will be notified of any pricing changes via an interstitial posted on the TransUnion Interactive home page, or by push notification or by email notification.
